Zebarites showcase AI based projects in Techknow Sci-Pi

Artificial intelligence forms the basis for all computer learning and is the future of all complex decision-making. AI is important because it includes the very foundation of computer learning. By learning about AI, students better understand their strengths as humans, identify their values, and develop the skills needed to solve real problems and put AI to good use.

National Education Policy aims to develop talent for the Fourth Industrial Revolution by preparing students for an economy driven by emerging technologies.

In Ahmedabad, Zebar was one of the first schools to introduce the subject of Artificial Intelligence to secondary students (IX and X). Recently Techknow Sci-Pi exhibition was held at the campus. Students did projects on three main domains of AI: Data Science, Computer Vision(CV) and Natural Language Processing (NLP). Students showcased more than 15 projects during the exhibition.

The projects included biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste recognition, an ASL translator that can translate the sign language of deaf and dumb people into English, a CV-based uniform verification system that ensures students are wearing proper uniforms, and a Teachers Toolkit.

There was a lot of interest in the exhibition on  projects such as AI Based Traffic Police, that can scan number plates of vehicles breaking traffic rules, fetch details of violators, and generate challans, and Diana Robot, which uses data, CV, and NLP domains of AI.

Students explained each and every element of their projects in great detail and all the projects showed true subject knowledge.

Homo sapiens have always engaged themselves in several inventions that were intended to improve their lives. This story of developments has been a prime part of the genus, which has kept us at the top of the food chain. But every coin has two sides that have been neglected for a long time.

Since developments have been a very dynamic subject, every progeny is expected to keep pace. This can be the expectations of society as well as the expectations of the family. Education is meant to lighten young minds, but recent times have made it more competitive rather than enjoyable.

Most students experience stress due to the expectations of their family and their friends about grades and their academic performances. This can deteriorate their health and hamper their ability to perform well in their studies. The best CBSE School in Ahmedabad is focused on keeping their students away from such experiences. They suggest their students practice several things that may help them to manage the stress of expectations and grades and encourage them to give their full potential in their studies.

Some of such measures are mentioned below:

1.Exercise Daily

Daily exercise is essential for the students to keep fit and fine. Many researchers have suggested that students who are engaged in daily routines can concentrate on their studies effectively. It boosts the working of their brain cells, which lets them focus well on their studies. CBSE Schools in Ahmedabad have included Physical Education and Yoga in their curriculum to make the students aware of the importance of regular exercise. This helps the students’ buffer against the negativity from academic expectations and stress.

2. Having a Healthy Diet

best CBSE School in Ahmedabad

‘Health is Wealth’, rightly said, as it focuses on the importance of having a healthy diet and lifestyle. Students’ performance largely depends on the diet, which can boost their learning abilities. Too much junk food can hamper the students’ health and hinder their performance. Some of the foods which are high in sugar would instead increase their stress. Hence, a student may be seen to overeat junk foods, leading them to obesity. A well-maintained and improved diet, such as green veggies and fruits, will help the students to combat stress and learn more effectively.

3. Music

When it comes to relieving stress, music can do wonders. Music has proved to calm the active nerves, relieve stress, and stimulate the brain’s cognitive ability. Music has several genres. CBSE School in Ahmedabad organizes several regular music classes to help students take a break from their studies and relieve stress.

4. Have a Considerate Group of Peers

Sometimes, talking our problems out to our friends can help us come out of our problems. A healthy interpersonal relationship may help a person to come out of the feeling of stress and also find solutions to problems. Only sometimes can we solve all our issues single-handedly. It also combats our feeling of loneliness, which is one of the stress catalysts. But students should choose their peers carefully as any mishaps in the bond can create another stress factor for them.

5. Get Enough Sleep

Every person should have at least 8 hours of sleep for a healthy lifestyle. This can sound very known to everyone, but it is the thing that we mostly ignore. There are often instances when students ignore proper sleep under academic pressure. But this does not help them in any way. Skipping or not having proper sleep can make them easily exhausted while studying. Learning something needs a lot of focus and brain activity. This can be achieved if the body gets adequate rest.

Conclusion

Most of the CBSE Board Schools in Ahmedabad have given the student’s health and mental well-being prime importance. The schools conduct regular counselling sessions and provide inspirational messages to the teachers in the classroom to keep their students motivated. A child needs to enjoy the learning process rather than take the stress.

Parents should support their children in their learning process and encourage them to work hard rather than just having expectations. For example, if the child is suffering from academic stress, a light discussion with them and reassurance to be by their side can encourage them to do well without any unnecessary stress.
