Online teaching is the need of the hour. Currently, schools across the world are using this method to reach out to their students. Globally there are more than 1.2 billion children out of their classrooms. Zebar School is one of the first schools in Ahmedabad to shift to the online mode of teaching.
Online learning always consists of two types of learning synchronous and asynchronous learning. To give our students the best in this situation, the school has tied up with Extramarks to fill in the gaps of online learning.
Online classes are conducted daily, but sometimes students do not attend their classes primarily due to network issues at their place. Hence sometimes students miss their lectures. In such a scenario, Extramarks comes handy to the students to cope up with their missed sessions.
Zebar School has an exclusive tie-up with Extramarks and access to Extramarks learning solutions is free on the portal as well as the app. Students and parents have to download it on their mobiles, and they can view the content on their mobiles.
The standard charges of Extramarks subscription for an entire year are more than Rs 15,000/-. This year the school has given the access free to each child. The school has paid the charges of Extramarks for the academic year 2020-21.
The school recommends that students should ideally view Extramarks on their desktops or laptops. The other main benefit of using this learning app is that it provides visual content, practice material and using data analysis techniques it accesses the performance of each child. The app also has mapped the learning journey of the child, and a parent can easily find it out by watching the learning curve.
All the learning modules in Extramarks are engaging and animated representations of textbook concepts. It helps in clearing the concepts, and thus the child remembers the content for a long time.

Divyansh Bajaj is the topper of 2019-20 batch of class 10. According to him, the school offers a competitive environment which has always helped and inspired him. The incorporation of modern technology and modern teaching methods have proven to be of great help. It leads to a better analysing and understanding of concepts. I am glad to have skilled and thought-provoking teachers who have helped me throughout my journey. They helped me to overcome obstacles that came in my way. I am grateful to them for that.

Toppers Speak by Akshi Patel & Heer Patel
Akshi Patel scored 96% in her CBSE exams in the year 2019-20 exams. Expressing her gratitude towards her teachers, she shared how they trained her for public speaking as she was a shy and introvert child. Earlier she used to face difficulties in public speaking, but with the help of teachers of one of the best CBSE schools, she overcame her fear of public speaking.
Apart from this, teachers of Zebar School encouraged her to have a positive attitude, motivated to attend classes regularly, for homework and taught her time management skills.
Heer Patel scored 95.6% in her class 10th exams. She moved from a small town to Ahmedabad for quality education.
