ISKU International Karate Cup-2017

We are happy to share that our student Master Ananya Himanshu Shah from Grade 8th B stood first in 52Kgs Boys Individual Kumite organised by ISKU International Shotokan Karate Union. He Won the ISKU International Karate Cup-2017 beating his opponent from Afghanistan. This Championship is approved by Karate Association of India (KAI)

Yoga At Sports Day

The first event was an amalgamation of Yoga Postures. Students of Grade 6,7,8 and 9 enthralled everyone. Solo Yoga performance of Janviba Chudasama from Grade 6 caught everyone's attention.

Maths Exhibition

The school paid a tribute to the legendary Indian Mathematician Srinavasa Ramanujan on his birth anniversary by holding a Maths Exhibition. Students from Grade III to Grade IX demonstrated various concepts of Maths and its application in their daily life. Children explained multiplication with Japanese method, created factor trees for explaining factors, connected Pythagoras theorem to show values of rational thinking, patience and hardwork. Students of Grade IX used Agamograph to describe the life history of Srinivasa Ramanujan. This exhibition showcased the exemplary work done by our teachers and highlighted that Maths need not be difficult subject to be scared of.

Christmas Celebrations

Christmas was celebrated with great joy and merriment. To teach children about the spirit of Christmas and inculcate the values of joy and sharing, pre-primary section celebrated Christmas at Zebar campus. The teachers and the children of pre-primary enacted the birth of Jesus and sang Christmas Carols. A surprise visit by Santa Claus made the day happier.

Children’s Day Celebration

While the rest of the world celebrates International Children’s Day on June 1, India celebrates it on November 14 as Bal Divas to commemorate the birthday of the first Prime Minister of Independent India, Jawaharlal Nehru, who was known for the love he had for children.

Zebar Children Shine

It is a moment of great joy and pride for Zebar School for Children that our students bagged first prizes in their respective categories in the Rally for Rivers initiative, Saving Rivers: India’s Lifelines, Creative Writing competition.

Meet Parmar of Std 7 and Shivani Rathod of Std 6 both brought glory to the school by winning cash prizes of Rs 3000 each for their first positions in the contest. Of a total of 3 prizes at the Gujarat state level, two were won by our students. It’s a stellar performance by any standard and they were rightfully felicitated by Hon Chief Minister and Education Minister in the presence of Sadhguru who is championing the cause of the rivers.

The young children are sensitive to the needs of the hour and wrote poignantly about it. More power to the pen and those who write for the good of our planet!
