Pre-Primary Sports Day

Tiny Tots of Zebar Pre-Primary celebrate Sports Day

In recognition of the importance of sports in a child’s life, Zebar School for Children celebrated its Annual Sports Day for children of Junior KG and Playgroup.

The day began with the declaration of the meet, marking the commencement of the ceremony, followed by the lighting of the torch. It was a beautiful sight to behold on a cold winter morning as the tiny tots entertained the audience with a spectacular pyramid and dumbbell show. The children participated in large numbers in engaging and innovative races like Animal Race, Huddle Race, Sack Race, Lemon Spoon Race, Potato Collecting Race, Popcorn Race, Star Plucking Race and Carrot Collecting Race. In the end, children from Junior KG enthralled the audience with their spectacular dance performance on ‘Give me freedom, Give me fire’.

Remembering Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

Students of VII A held an assembly on the birth anniversary of Sardar  Vallabhbhai  Patel, the chief architect of modern India. The assembly commenced with a prayer which was followed by the thought of the day. Students performed a skit to highlight his contribution in unifying the country at the time of independence. It also provided an in-depth understanding of the vision, tact, diplomacy and pragmatic approach of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who integrated 562 princely states with the Union of India and prevented Balkanisation of the newly independent country. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
